pistol holsters as an accessory? I still have a shoulder holster and a drop-belt holster, and also a flak vest from my last career. Can I just wear them as fashion accessories now?

How do I put on my single sided shoulder gun holster?
I recently ordered a shoulder holster and I haven't the slightest idea how to make it fit right.
When I have it on, the case that is suppose to hold the gun is either leaning inward or outward. How do I make it stay straight? I don't have the gun I'm using it for with me at the moment. Would placing the gun in it balance it out and make it straight?
I'm so frustrated and mad right now. =[
I'm not even sure which fastener goes with which. The straps get twisted and it's a whole mess.
If anyone can describe, in vivid detail, how to actually set up the holster, I'll be very grateful.

What is a good nylon shoulder holster for a walther PPS .40 cal?

Leather Shoulder Holster Where can I buy a good vertical shoulder holster for a Walther P22?
I have a Fobus paddle holster for it already, and I don't particularly like it. What I do like is it's construction. It's a very durable mold, not leather or nylon. It just locks the pistol in place because it's molded to fit it precisely. But I'm in warmer climates and I don't like wearing loose fitting clothes (I'm not a thug, or a clown). The best thing for me would be a vertical rig, since my arm would just cover up the bulge. I just need a good one. Leather is ok, a molded one would be perfect. I don't like nylon or synthetic fiber stuff. My last one (that was a good brand), ripped. So, any suggestions?
I would not bother with a shoulder holster for a a p22. The holster will be WAY too bulky for a gun that small.. and then you will always have to wear a jacket or some fugly button up over it. Get an Uncle Mikes in the pants holster. I usually carry full size 4.5 to 5 inch guns.. Im 140 pounds very slim guy and can wear 30x30 tight fitting jeans and a size small t shirt and it doesn't print. The Uncle Mikes would probably print less than a cell phone with a p22 and a tight fit T. You can wear it in the front, back, or side. I like mine on the right just behind my hip. I also carry a walther p22 when I jog in the woods. I would not suggest it as a self defense gun though.. no stopping power, but plenty of killing power lol.
