Can you imagine what a person born blind exeperience when people with good sight talks about colours?

For example three friends,two with good sight and one born blind,together walking along the road and the two friends watchs a beautiful car passses by and this is one of them had to say ''that car is wonderful, especially the colour, waoh!!! Can that blind person have his own imagination?In which way?

i cant imagine his feelings, but it makes me feel very sad.

when do you think my item will arrive- ebay?

i ordered a laser bore sighter off ebay on saturday. the description says, " ships within one buisness day". i got an email on monday saying it shipped. i live in PA, and the item was shipped from minnesota, when will it arrive?

Hopefully it will arrive in two weeks.

buying laser bore sight?

would it be wise to buy a used laser bore sighter or should I just buy a new one? In what ways can they be damaged to not sight correctly or do they adjust somehow?I've never actually looked at one.

I've used the laser bore sighting systems a few times and in reality you don't need them. Start your sighting in at 50 yards with a good size target. Try to line up the scope and the bore (remove the bolt) by just sighting down both and getting them close. Take a shot, adjust at the 50 yards till you are 2.5 inches above the zero. Move the target to 100 yards and you should be trying to get 1.75 inch above the zero, then you should be right on at 200 yards with a centerfire rifle. 22LR are similar, only you start at 25 yards and then go to 50, then 100.

bushnell laser bore sighter?

any one have one of their lasers and it does not seem to stay aligned with the barrel each time i remove and reinsert it it changes i think its the twist of them barrel (the barrel isnt twisted ) but the rifleing any one expierence this also

You must have the arbor with correct adapters for caliber. It has to be adjusted right so that it goes into barrel snug but, not too tight. Make sure the screw on adapters are straight. Push all the way until taper is against muzzle. Pushed all the way in. I have one and mine stays the same each time I ck it.

Purpose of boresighter is to get you on the paper.....not submoa. You still need to shoot your gun to tweak it.

how to improve my eye sight?

actually i am not wearing any glasses or contact lenses,i have problem when i am in 6th class now i completed my engneering, when i am in 6th class i have -0.75 eye sight and at 10th class i am having -1.5 eyesight,upto 10th class i used to wear the glasses,from inter i am not wearing it,now i am having -3.25 eye sight,i dont want to wear glasses please suggest me any exercises and diet to improve my eye vision,ya one way is there i know that laser operation but it costs a lot,i cant able to bear huge amount i belonged to middle class society.

any advice on laser surgery?

I really want to have laser eye surgery - I have quite severe astigmatism & I'm short sighted. I wear contact lenses every day & have to wear my glasses if I'm not wearing my contacts. I would love to be free of contacts & to be able to see the time on the clock when I wake up in the morning.

However, I've heard recently about various people whose long distance vision has been corrected but it worsened their close up vision.

I've been for a consultation & they said my eyes were in perfect health except for slight dry eye in one, but I should wait a while longer so that my prescription could settle, as it's worsened a lot in recent years. However, they didn't mention any complications such as the one I mentioned above & I'm worried that they probably wouldn't in case I back out.

Can anyone tell me what are the most common negative efftecs of the surgery & how likely they are? I really want to have it done but can't bear the thought of something going wrong.

Even with some side effects present in some people, 96% of people who have had it done say they would recommend it to a friend.
The odds are good for people who are good candidates but that does not reduce the risk to zero.
A stable Rx is strongly recommended.
The most commonly reported side effects or problems are:
Rx not as near zero as hoped,
Dry eyes (temporarily or permanently)
Glare or haloes at night (temporarily or permanently)
Estimates of frequency vary from 1-8%
More serious problems are rarer.

For people 40+ in age who occasionally or frequently do close work without their correction, having their Rx set to infinity can be a drawback as well as a benefit.
