Bought new Desert Camoflage cover for my kevlar helmet.?

I just bought a size Medium/Large Desert Camo Cover, for a Kevlar assault helmet. Since my old cover was old, and faded I decided to buy a new one before I go back to Iraq.

However, I totally forgot that my kevlar helmet is size small, will the cover, fit alright on the helmet?
I don't have the cover yet, it's in the mail. Incase any was wondering, why wouldn't just try it out.
I've had a size small helmet since I've joined the Corps. I just measured the circumference of my head and it's 22.5" do you think it's time for me to swith to a size medium?

If you get a bigger helmet, you might have a problem with it flopping around when you mount Night vision goggles on it.

When you put the new helmet cover on, get it wet first, put it on, and let it dry in the sun.
