Making a simple log cabin, and I need a simple roofing technique.?
I am making an ice fishing hut for winters on a lake I live near, and I am having trouble finding log cabin roofing techniques. Any suggestions?
Just make some trusses and put them on 2 foot apart . Lay some 1x4s across the trusses 18 inch's apart then lay some tin on the roof overlapping each other. Then use the special tin to cap off the roof. Dont use logs too much weight. Use plywood and framing. Build it on skids. So you can pull it with snow mobile.
