Nikon Buckmaster
Im looking to make a good setup for deer season next year (08). I was thinking about.....?

I was thinking about getting a Browning A-Bolt Hunter chambered in 7MM Rem Mag with a Nikon Buckmaster scope and a Harris Bipod. That should be a nice setup right? Should I go to the gunshop and have them order it or buy it online and save a few dollars? This is my first gun but I have been shooting them for a few years. Tell me your thoughts.

I'd go with a Remington 700 instead of an A-Bolt. The hinged floorplate magazine is a lot better than the detachable magazines the A-Bolts have. I just got one in .30-06 and it is sweeeet. Also, the Remingtons aren't as expensive, but are every bit as good. I don't know how much the Buckmaster goes for, but if you want to spend around $300 for a scope, buy a lower-end Leupold. Just my opinion, though...there are a zillion different rifle/scope/brand combos people recommend that are good, and yours sounds pretty awesome. Most hunters would be stoked to have it.
