Pancake Holster

Any S&W 36 J fame owners out there?

I use my S&W 637 for summer carry and I really like it,right now I use a Uncle mikes pancake holster for it,and it is really comfortable.I also have a Uncle mikes 15$ in the pants holster but the holster or the gun seems to try to work its way out,when sitting down and getting up.One time it fell on to the floor at my house,thank god I was testing the holster around the house first.What is a good in the pants holster I can get for my 637?I am willing to spend 70$,and the holster has to have a strap so it can't fall out,and I do not want a pocket holster or ankle holster.

I have one of his Silver Dollar Pancake Holsters for S&W J-Frame revolvers.

This is the first holster I've acquired that was made by someone else in over 20 years. I am an amateur leatherworker and generally make my own holsters. I am a pretty darned good craftsman but let me tell you, Rob's work is mighty impressive.

You can tell good gunleather from the condition of the edges of the leather. Not only are the outside edges of my Silver Dollar well finished, but the edges of the belt slots are smoothly finished, sealed and burnished as well. The stitching is perfectly executed, and fit is absolutely perfect.

The only thing that really irritates me about this holster is that I didn't come up with the design myself!

BTW, all of Rob's concealment holsters can be purchased with detachable belt loops that permit their use as inside the waistband holsters as well as regular belt holsters.

I simply cannot give too much praise for Rob's work. it is absolutelyimpeccablee and the prices are most reasonable for custom leather. If you contact Rob, tell him that I sent you.
