For target shooting purposes..
As a Gun shop Owner Weaver Scopes have been around for decades and make a quality product made here in the U.S.. Optronic's on the other hand is a relatively new import scope (Made in China) To answer your question you have to compare apples to apples and that is not what you are doing here. The Weaver K4 is a "fixed" 4X power scope with a 32mm objective lens that can't be adjusted for magnification. The Optronic's is a variable power 3-9 X adjustable magnification rifle scope, that can be adjusted. They are both inexpensive by today's standards the K4 running about $50 retail and the Optronic's about $60. The K4 has "fineplex"cross-hairs and the Optronic's has Dual-X cross-hairs. This is a case where you need to base your choice/decision on what type of rifle you intend to put it on and what you are going to use the scope for (hunting? target shooting?) You didn't say. If you made your choice based on quality alone the Weaver wins out, even though it is less expensive. The Optronic's being manufactured in China is less a bargain if put on a high powered hunting rifle. Chinese scopes don't seem to handle constant recoil well...
