Leather Sheath
Fashion designers take note of Michelle Obama
Inspiration for collections often comes from the past. But the first lady is a modern muse. First Lady Michelle Obama has become something of a muse to several New York designers, who showed pre-fall 2010 collections in December that reflected signature elements of her style.

How much is my civil war sword worth?
Its been in my family for decades and its a real sword right at the beginning of the blade its labeled 1862 and has some writing that is no longer legible right beside it. I would like to know how much its worth all together including the metal sheath and sword. Id also like to add a little more detail like the fact that the handle still has original leather wrapped around it and that it has a handle guard, its in excellent condition but just a little worn.
Does it look a bit like this:

That is an authentic Civil War sword that dates back to 1864. Comes with original leather and is selling for $1500.
If your sword is authentic I guess it cannot be worth anything under $1000.
Hope it helps, and good luck with finding a valuation!
