What would be the average price for a Vietnamese SKS Rifle?

my dad owns one, it's registered as a war trophy that my uncle brang back from the Vietnam War. it is in working condition very clean, has the bayonette still attached, still able to fire. and ideas on prices? just trying to get a feel for what it may be worth.

Looking around on a few sites, the Chinese ones are selling for around $500. I assume this one, being from Vietnam, would be worth much more. Maybe 1-2 thousand dollars?

I'm no antiques roadshow, this is just a rather ill-informed guess on my part.
