When soldiers die, how is a table set up in the mess hall?
Someone i know went to the board and they asked him how is the table set up when soldiers die, he wasnt sure of the question, but he said something about a whine glass upside down. can anyone help me?
I've seen more than one Fallen Soldiers Table setup. Two are described on these web pages:
http://www.homestead.com/proudamericans/files/Fallen_Soldier_Tribute.pdf
http://www.keiperslockandalarm.com/TheFallenSoldiersTableTribute.html
There are subtle differences between the two. One uses a white tablecloth and one uses black; one has dog tags and the other doesn't; one has a yellow ribbon around the vase and the other has a red ribbon; one puts the lemon on the napkin and the other puts the lemon on the bread plate.
The items are placed in the same position on both tables. There are pictures on the second web site. That one doesn't show the dog tags. They are placed on the table between the rose and the silverware.
Most common mistake - the lemon is SLICED, not quartered.
Use whichever one fits your needs the best.
