Buy Your Child A Giant Mountain Bike
The technology behind Giant mountain bikes make them one of the best brands in the world. Professional bike riders use Giant bikes in competitions, to train on and when they just fancy going for a leisurely cycle. But biking beginners can use Giant mountain bikes as well as professionals. Their range of kids bikes suit every level of ability.
There are two ranges of children’s bikes made by the brand. One range is designed for little children who have never ridden before. For children that have never ridden a bike before, there is a range for them. The second are for the more experienced young riders who use their bike for fun and freedom. Let’s take a look at both.
First Bike
For first time riders there are three bikes suitable for children. Safety and fun are combined in the L’il Giant which is a tricycle in loads of colours. A pole attached to the back of the bike lets parents keep control over where the bike goes and the training wheels help the child to stay balanced. The PUDD’N range comes in junior and normal size and are designed for little girls. There is a lovely basket on the front, removable training wheels and 16” wheels to help first time riders with their confidence. The smaller junior size features stabilisers and smaller 12” wheels. The last model in its first time rider range is Animator. Animator is like the PUDD’N range but in more boyish colours and no basket. Like PUDD’N there is an original size and a junior version of the bike.
Sport Bikes
Once a child has gained more experience on their bike they can move onto the range for older children which consists of the MTX and taffy range. The MTX comes in 125 and 225 versions with the former riding on 20” wheels and having 6 speed gears. The 225 has 18 speed gears and 24” wheels. Both bikes have an Alux aluminium technology frame and suspension fork. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. The 125 has smaller wheels and fewer gears than the 225.
