airsoft sniper question?

Im getting the utg m324 and i wanted to know about the upgrade kit. I called airsoftgi and they said it won't bring the gen 3 any fps higer. But then I called again to double check and they said that it will now. Will it or not? Because im getting the gen 3 and i want the upgrade kit and i maybe be getting the high precision barrel and doing the teflon mod. If I put all that in how many fps will that bring it up to? And will the upgrade kit work?

If you haven't bought the gun yet, don't. Get the JG Bar 10. You'll put too much work into the gun to get out of it what you'll hope for. The Generation 3 M324 is a decent gun in itself, but if you're looking to upgrade it, you'll never surpass the stock performance, except with a DBC 6.01 mm tightbore, and even then, it's not a substantial improvement.

The upgrade kit brings all pre-gen 3 M324s up to the level of the Generation 3 M324, and it also serves as a replacement bolt for high-mileage rifles. Both the upgrade kit and the gen 3 M324s come with a 6.04mm brass tightbore, and all former airleaks requiring the teflon mod are fixed. As such, the advertised performance is the performance you will get out of the gun, guaranteed.

Now, the Bar 10 or the MK96, both those are almost limitlessly upgradable. The Bar 10 is Tokyo Marui VSR-10 compatible, and the Mk96 is Maruzen APS-2 compatible. With enough tweaking and money, you could get either rifle shooting well above 500 fps with several BB weights.
