Tactical Red Dot
Red dot sight for a mossberg 500?

I own a mossberg 500 tactical and im in search for a red dot sight that doesnt magnify so i can be a little more accurate. Any suggestions?

The aimpoint is the big name and big price.....BSA makes a decent one for a low price. Unless you are shooting slugs you should not need it. You will shoot moving targets better with open sites for bird hunting.....slugs maybe a little better with a red dot.

What kind of scope should i get for a JG ak 47 tactical?

So i am getting the JG AK47 tactical off of airsplat since noone else seems to have it instock. I was wondering if its even worth getting a magnified scope for it and what kind i should get. I mean it would be cool to have a lightly magnified one. And is there such a thing as a magnified Red dot scope? like airsplat.com has 1X30 red dot scope 30mm. What does that mean? Like what is a 4X32 scope mean?

What does 4x32 mean?
4 - The first number means the magnification. In this example it is 4x normal eyesight.
32 - Means the diameter of the viewing lens (not the eyepiece) in millimetres.
The tech term for this is "Objective Lens Size"
4x32 - Therefore is 4x magnification seen through a 20mm wide view lens.

And what about 3-9x40 then?

This means the scope has variable "zoom" capability.
In this case it ranges between 3 and 9x magnification though a 40mm wide view lens (Objective lens)
Unless otherwise stated the numbers are whole numbers, so on a 3-9x there will be a 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7, 8 and 9x position but not fractions or some sort of granular 3.75x type of thing.
As an aside, 3-9x40 is the most popular general purpose scope size.

If you are doing CQB, I don't recommend a scope with a magnification, (anything that is above 1), because you sure will have a hard time shooting people.

I suggest a red/green dot scope that is $35. (1x40)
