Trade in price on a used Ruger P944?
Anyone know what I could get on a trade in price on a used Ruger P944 in the .40S&W. In SS. Its in good condition just needs to a good bore cleaning(dont have a pistol kit). Im looking at trading up to a new SR9
I just wanna know what i can get for it before i decide if i wan the SR9 or not
Pricing for your gun is listed below. If trading in at a gun shop, expect them to offer you $50-$75 less than actual value of your gun. They have to make a profit on the deal.
There's a local dealer here that will buy used guns for 10% less than graded blue book prices. For example, if your gun is valued at 90% condition ($270), he'd offer 80% ($230) on trade. For selling outright it's usually between 15%-20% less than blue book. While that's still higher than most pawn shops will give you, you could do better selling to an individual if that's an option for you.
