I have a 1911A1. The slide says Ithaca Gun Co, the serial number is six (6) digits, 758XXX. Parts gun?

Bob, NO this is NOT a parts gun. Ithaca made 1911s have a decent value even if they are in rough shape. They have a collectors value, and a following from retired vets. I've sold them from a rough and abused cost of $475 up to $1350 for a excellent model. Just a comparison, if you were to have a Singer made 1911s( the sewing machine company made some) I have sold two of these for $58,000 each.
