How do i tell if my rifle scope is bad?

We have tried the old fashioned way of sighting it in and nothin doin. We got a bore sighter and still yet it will hold a group for a couple rounds and then it will not be accurate anylonger . is the scope bad. tips or suggestions
it is a 30-06 150 gr rounds

If after shooting and the mounts are tight,you have an internal problem. Sighting in and after a few rounds zero is lost. If warranted ship to the factory. Leupold fixed a scope for no charge and it's now fine.The caliber or bullet weight make no difference.
