Does your camo pattern for hunting have to match on your pants and jacket?
NO
The world of fashion has no place in hunting.
Often I don't even wear camo. I wear dark colored clothes.
The camo I use is usually because it is what's made for the outdoors. I look for what is more useful to what I'm doing than rather what matches what I have at home in the closet.
Think about a deer there are no patterns of leaves, shadows, or limbs on there coat. They blend in perfect, often even if they have no cover in front of them. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3393/3506005633_d1e5787884_o.jpg
I have raised deer in the past. People would come over to see them and ask where are the deer as they are looking in the pens. They would be starring at a buck in open sight and not see it.
The key to blend in is not to stand out of your surroundings. Be still and don't move. I have been in total matching camo (Advantage timber) in the woods and have had deer to walk up and look straight at me when I thought I was hid. I have wore blue jeans and a jacket and they never see me.
This is what I recomend for camo http://www.naturalgear.com/
