Holster Bersa Thunder
Has anyone used an ankle holster for a Bersa Thunder .380?

I have a Bersa Thunder .380, and I'm interested in getting a holster. Has anyone carried this with an ankle holster? I've never carried before (I just got my CCW) and I don't know how comfortable this gun would be in that type of holster. Would it be too big?

I wore an ankle holster for about an hour and will never again. Horribly uncomfortable and impractical.

Is the Bersa Thunder .38 a reliable handgun?

Is the Bersa Thunder .38 a reliable handgun? Does it have any known problems? Is it a good handgun to use with an ankle holster and who makes a holster that this gun would fit in?

Pros and Cons please

The Bersa .380 is a decent automatic that is easily concealable. It is also inexpensive, compared to most other makes. I do not own one personally, but I see them all the time, and have shot a few, as well (I'm a part-time rangemaster).

The number one complaint I hear about them is that they do require regular cleaning between firing. Also, one owner told me that if the slide is not properly lubricated then it will hold open after firing, even if there are rounds left in the magazine. I have never witnessed a stuck slide, however.

I would not carry in an ankle holster. The post above outlines why this is a bad idea. Try an inside-the-waistband holster. For something as small as the Bersa you should have no discomfort issues.
