Is every handgun considered a concealed weapon?
If I carry a handgun in open view, such as in a holster on my hip, do I still need a concealled weapon permit in California?
a "concealed" firearm is just that, one that is carried in concealment in such a manor that it is not easily visible. As for the peoples republik of Kalifornia, every city in the state has ordinances banning the carry of handguns in public. The area's that do allow it, will still see you getting stopped by the cops, usually at gunpoint. Carrying in the wilds, the forrests, etc is legal, except national parks of course. And even worse yet, in Kalifornia, you are not going to get a CCW permit. Only politicians and their best friends get em.
