Anybody has bought anything from dickblick art materials?

This is my first time in purchasing anything from internet at all. Is dickblick.com for art supplies safe enough to buy from?
I want to buy lots of oil paints from this site. Is it safe to purchase at the beginning one item? and them I may purchase more later when the shipment arrive?

Dick blick is a reputable supplier. I have never ordered on line from them but I would figure they are dependable since they are a big chain. If I would go and order online I would go straight to the manufacturer of the paints and usually you can get good pricing (no middle man). I used to buy from them my supplies from their stores but lots of the stuff that is their brand are cheap and would not buy it. I went back to buying stuff from Pearl stores. I used to buy stretcher bars but they were pretty bad and warped and broke, Frederick's are a lot better about the same price and I can get them at Pearl. Also the people that worked at Blick are not very knowledgeable and there is poor customer service.
