What do I need for supplies to reload shotgun shells and rifle cases?

I want to start reloading and I'm wondering what I need to start reloading. I will mostly reload shotgun shells but possibly rifle cases in the future.

You'll need two different machines - one for metallic, one for shotshells.

Shotshells are easy, rifle cases take a bit more work and care.

Most importantly - firstly - you need a scale.

To start with for shotgun, a MEC 600 JR is a good starting machine. Then you'll need 209 Primers, wads, shotgun powder, and shot. Personally its not worth it to reload right now - shot is $50 a bag - you can buy new cheaper than that.

For rifle, you'll need dies, a press (RCBS Rock-chucker is great), case lube, bullets, rifle powder, primers, and if you want them clean a case tumbler.
